Open daily on the Corroboree grounds

The Desert Dreaming Centre – so easily recognisable by our iconic shade structure perched high above our Corroboree grounds in the township of Barcaldine. Here you will experience authentic outback Aboriginal Australia. The Desert Dreaming Centre will be open daily where you will experience Corroboree presentations by the Desert Dust Dancers and experience authentic Aboriginal song, dance, story, and art from the original inhabitants of this country. Art and other workshops will be made available during the season by our regular team of artists in residence.

Nowhere else in Australia will you see so much culture and story squeezed into one compact location than at the Desert Dreaming Centre. Here you will begin your immersion into the Dreaming of the Yiningai (Yin-in-gee) people beneath the covers of our sacred Corroboree Grounds and the brightest Milky Way seen anywhere in Big Sky Country.
